For the first two days of fall break, we're going to head out of town to beautiful Stephen F. Austin State Park and explore what it means to be a "loving and engaging community that is growing in dependence on God and participation in His mission."
That means there's going to be plenty of time to have fun with friends, seek God together, and of course rest after a busy first half to this semester!
The cost is $20 and covers one night's stay at the park, two days of park fees, and food while we're there. Cash or check to Campus Crusade for Christ are both accepted. If money would be the only thing keeping you from coming, please know scholarships are available (contact email@example.com for more information).
We'll meet at the Sallyport at 10:30am on Saturday and be back Sunday evening around 6pm.
What to bring:
--sleeping bag (and something soft to put it on, if you can)
--football/frisbee/games of your choice for free time
--swimsuit (some people will probably swim in the river)

Notes on the facility:
The park has restrooms and showers. We will have a large screened "recreational hall" where we'll eat and have our group times. You can sleep on the floor in the hall, or bring a tent to set up outside if you prefer.
